Wheee!

You’d think that if one didn’t update their blog that they’d have nothing to say, right? That they’ve not been doing much? Truth is that I just kept saying “Tomorrow… I’ll update tomorrow”. Oops!? So. Since my last post I’ve had another craft fair- it was similar to the first in that I didn’t sell much again but it was just as much fun! Umm… I attended and got drunk in the aftermath of the opening of an exhibition that my works are featured in:

OH! I went to Germany! Berlin, Munich and Hamburg- soooooo much fun! I think I might do a post talking all about that soon… Do you ever get that feeling that you’ve got SO much to say that you just don’t know where to start??

Who in the Turn is eating all the Milk duds!?

Oooookay, so I didn’t realise it had been quite so long since I last blogged? Where did the time go? It went to preparing for my first ever craft fair apparently! I really should make a point of updating while I’m prepping…

I’d love to say I sold shed loads of items but truth be told, it was only a couple. That’s not to say I didn’t have an amaaazing time! The morning started with 3.5 hours sleep and total butterflies followed by meeting a bunch of ace people and a wee show of support from one of my best friends (she said she was soo proud of me; brought a tear to the eyeball!). Such a super excellent day! <3 So what’s next? Exhibition, yo… More butterflies to follow and yeah, I’m delightfully excited about it!

This was a really big spider- i think it had a gun.

TOP HAT! So a few years ago I went across to Florida with a friend and came back with an Alice in Wonderland top hat. There’s not really much else to that particular story other than I developed (and subsequently repressed) obsessions for both Alice and top hats apparently. That was a wordy sentence. SO. Remember I said I’d been up to something? Well, check out the 2in tall, completely handmade top hat! I’m pretty delighted with it. So much so, that I made an even-freakin’-tinier one and whapped it (quite lovingly) onto a chain! D’awwwh, little smooshy felty top hats!

Moving on! (This has to be said like Katherine from ‘Greek’ otherwise it just isn’t right.) Let’s see… I also… Ordered some frames for the work I’m submitting to an exhibition- I think I’ve also decided which ones I’m using, too. EEK! Exciting! I… (think I’ve) finished a commission I was working on, too! What a day!
