A lot of blogs I’ve been stalking recently are flaunting some pretty heavy-duty thrifty tendencies and although I’ve occassionally offloaded onto charity shops, I’ve never actually entertained the thought of rummaging through what they have to offer. Call it fear, if you will. Fear of what? What would people say? Digging through, let alone buying clothes that other people have worn, perspired in… Died in? (Yeah, all views I’ve heard- I’ve come to accept I come from a pretty conventional family.) So yesterday I found myself with 4 hours to spare and giving it a go. I came home with a darn cute outfit even if I say so myself.

Dress: £3. Shoes: Deichmanns, £4.99.

Ring: priced at £3, bought for £1.50.
My verdict? Well, it appears those hours I spent wandering charity shop to charity shop were the most fun I’ve had shopping in a long time!
